The National Holocaust Awareness Initiative

is a not-for-profit organization launched in response to a recent Pew Research Poll that reveals:

44% of MillenNials in the United States can neither adequately explain the Holocaust or identify what “Auschwitz” is, and who believe Hitler came to power through force
(
NY Times, April 12, 2018).

NHAI’s simple goal is to produce at least two to three (2-3) 25-minute documentaries and a reading list/learning curriculum for free distribution to high schools, colleges and organizations throughout the country, via a network of at least 35 multi-denominational sponsors.

Extensive traditional and digital marketing and publicity will support the effort, both locally and nationally. NHAI will provide sponsors with complete turnkey communications support.

The key to this effort is enlisting appropriate celebrity participation in the content of the videos to attract and engage this key demographic (soon to be the majority of the U.S. workforce).

A renowned writer/director, Jonathan Kesselman (“The Hebrew Hammer”) and production company, Cinnabar Pictures, are already attached to the project.

“Our hope is to start moving the needle on a new generation’s understanding of the havoc fascism, anti-Semitism and intolerance can wreak on society if nobody is paying adequate attention. ‘Never again’ begins with an adequate education. It’s painfully obvious from the available data this essential task has been startlingly neglected. NHAI was founded to address that challenge and inspire others to join in,” NHAI founder David Drimer says.
